After School Teacher job at InMotion After School Howard Beach, NY, US

Job Description

Starting Date : September 8, 2022 - End of School Year

Schedule: From Monday to Friday, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm EST.

In Motion After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We are looking for outgoing, personable and reliable staff for our school-based programs in the area. We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring individuals who are flexible, responsible, and can work equally well with both adults and children.

Educator :

Assist Educators in providing a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day;
Assist Educators in the facilitation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans when needed;
Ensure safety and security of children enrolled;
Follow designated schedule and curriculum, maintain routine for students;
Assist with homework completion;
Monitor children during the program, help with restroom, water breaks and playground supervision.

Requirements : 18+ years old with some experience working with school-age youth, ages 4-12

Compensation : $18-21/hour DOE
