We are looking for a motivated, optimistic team player with a strong work ethic and sales background who's primary interest is in helping the hearing impaired community.
Overview:The primary role of the Dispenser is to provide quality sales and hearing health care to the hearing impaired public consistent with SoundChoice policy and brand experience.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- Hold a license to dispense hearing aids in the State Board of Hearing Instrument Specialists/Audiology
- Trainee/Apprentice to Licence Professional
- Demonstrate competence required to work independently to provide treatment and best recommendation for hearing impaired patients
Skills & Expertise:
- Able to properly dispense the hearing aid most appropriate for the patient
- Perform Hearing Evaluations/Consultations
- Complete Hearing Evaluation - including bone, pure tone, speech and masking
- Hearing Aid Trouble Shooting and minor repairs
- Shows ability to promote and sale all SoundChoice Hearing products and services
- Patient Care & Customer Service
Responsibilites:
- Provide patient care services by independently selecting appropriate amplification,
performing amplification evaluations, counseling patients and their families about hearing
loss, making appropriate referrals, writing notes, doing follow-up and maintaining records
to ensure optimal patient service is provided.
- Establish and maintain professionalism in the community.
- Carry out special assignments as requested by the Owner/Manager.
-Market the practice to new patients at every opportunity.
- Increase revenue and value by selling all the available products and services.
- Review Insurance when appropriate.
- Track patient contracts and record results in the areas of replacement/repairs.
- Take ownership of patients and follow-up with patients on a regular basis.
- Participate in continuing education events and other training programs to enhance knowledge and ability to perform job responsibilities.
- Adhere to all goals and policies established by the practice.
- Focus on customer service and revenue generation to improve the practice productivity and profitability.
Expectations:
Salary Pay + Commission ($70,000-$100,000)
Full-Time Employee
*Responsible for meeting and exceeding company goals and objectives
*90 day evaluation period and performance review/Annual thereafter or as needed
