About Us

One Hospitality is a rapidly growing hospitality group that owns and operates several bars and restaurants throughout the Columbus area. With multiple new venues opening soon, we are expanding our finance team and seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help keep our financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly.

Position Overview

The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the Finance Director and leadership team with reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of accounting best practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile daily sales from multiple venues.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor invoices.

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.

  • Assist with payroll preparation and benefits tracking.

  • Ensure compliance with tax filings and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the Finance Director with special projects and audits.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and personnel records.

Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (hospitality/restaurant industry experience preferred).

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

  • Strong Excel and data-entry skills.

  • Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
