• JOB SUMMARY

SOCIAL EVENTS SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Social Events Leads are serving captains that work all off premise events. A Social Event Lead will be required to work with all Canyon Catering Social Event Staff, such as chefs, bartenders and servers. Canyon Social Events Leads must make sure to delegate tasks to staff. Canyon Catering Social Event Leads must have experience executing events.
SOCIAL EVENT LEAD JOB DUTIES:
• Delegate duties to event staff
• Assist in unloading of equipment and food from truck
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Place all equipment and food in designated area of events
• Set up Tables, Buffets and Stations
• Serve every table
• Refill Beverages
• Clear each course of plates and flatware
• Answer guest questions
• Clean up and Break down of the event
• Load up all equipment onto Canyon Vehicle

SOCIAL EVENT LEAD SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Customer Service:
• Communication is key to social event server jobs. You will need to listen to clients orders, answer client questions and more. You will need great listening and speaking skills, a friendly relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service create a great dining experience for our clients
• Stamina:
• Busy days on your feet, moving fast and carrying large trays of food are the trademark of a banquet server job.
• Teamwork:
• Social Event servers are part of a team. You will be working with other servers and cooking staff to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
• Cleanliness:
• Nobody wants their food delivered by someone who is not properly groomed. Being clean and neat when serving food and drinks will help create a great first impression to your customers.
