- Deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and department network administrators.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret (active Secret is preferred at time of hire)
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco products including routers, switches, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
- Knowledge of F5 Load Balances
- Knowledge of ACL's
- Ability to update and modify scripts using PowerShell - PLUS
- CCNA is a plus
- Cellular 3G/5G is a plus
