Your Specific Responsibilities:
The incumbent is part of a global public health organization and is expected to support the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County in its mission to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county and community efforts and its vision to be the healthiest state in the nation. Furthermore, the incumbent is expected to incorporate the agency values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness and Excellence in all aspects of their work.
Need to know position with access to medical records. Has computer access to Health Management System HMS and Florida Shots immunization program. Has access to secured areas and prescription medications. Adheres to Florida Department of Health in Citrus County Confidentiality, Security policy and procedures, and attends annual confidentiality and security trainings and updates. Successful completion of a urine drug screen is a condition of employment.
May be assigned to any clinic location or program within the Florida Department of Health in Citrus.
Primary responsibilities will primarily be providing care to Family Planning and prenatal clients, which may include Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Immunizations including but not limited to:

Minimum -
Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464 or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 210-8.27.
Valid Florida Drivers License
Preferred –
Experience working in a medical clinic, Experience working with pregnant women or women of childbearing age.
