Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Creation : Design and prepare high-quality sushi dishes with artistic presentation and consistency.
  • Menu Development : Collaborate on menu innovation, bringing fresh ideas and authenticity to our sushi offerings.
  • Leadership & Training : Select and train team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Quality Control : Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety in all sushi offerings.
  • Operations : Assist in inventory management, sourcing ingredients, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Sushi Expertise : Proven experience in sushi making with knowledge of traditional and contemporary techniques.
  • Leadership : Demonstrated ability to select, train, and inspire a culinary team.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork & Independence : Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Analytical Abilities : Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Software Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is an asset.
  • Industry Knowledge : Hospitality industry experience is an asset.
  • Adaptability : Ability to learn and communicate new ideas quickly and clearly.
  • Judgment & Initiative : Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and show initiative. 

Expected start date: Full-time employment starting on or around March 2025.

Compensation Plan: Total Compensation Package: $105,000-$140,000 (includes base pay and bonus).
