The Opportunity:

We are looking for Field Network Engineers to join our team providing network and IT services for 500+ diverse clients supporting network installations, troubleshooting, and break fix services.

  What We Require:

• Ability to travel from site to site to perform assigned work orders (WOs)
• Customer -driven attitude with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity
• Effective communication/documentation skills and attention to detail
• Experience in networking, data equipment, PCs, cabling, fiber optics, or security devices
• Effective problem-solving skills by taking initiative to find solutions
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team
• Minimum of one year experience installing low voltage cable
• Minimum of one year experience in restoring services by troubleshooting and replacing failed components
• Computer skills including network gear configurations and Microsoft Office
• Technical and interpersonal skills working with Network Operations Centers
• Ability to be on-call on a rotating schedule
• Must have a basic laptop, smart phone, hotspot and telecom hand tools or the ability to get them

The Location:

Interconnect dispatches its valued Field Service Engineers from their homes so there is no need to go to a central office and do busy work. We cover a 350-mile radius from city-center. Travel is required with some overnight stays to better serve clients and further develop markets.
