**Job Description:**
The Healthcare Data Advisor at Intermountain Healthcare is responsible for developing and deploying data solutions within multiple clinical or operational focus areas, including Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Management, Quality Management (both acute and ambulatory settings), and Patient Experience. They serve as a Data Steward, coordinating all aspects of data management and usage, and act as the resident data expert for user education and solution enablement. They are the primary liaison between the analysts doing development work and the stakeholders who need the work done, scoping new requests, maintaining a prioritized backlog, and providing regular updates on progress. The position also emphasizes a strong team collaborative culture, utilizes agile project management methods and tools, and keeps stakeholders and analysts well-informed. This position provides ongoing training, maintenance, monitoring, and promotion of data applications and reports.

**Essential Functions**
+ Partners with senior analytics leaders to understand and prioritize stakeholder data needs
+ Collaborates with Data Platform Architects to develop and maintain data assets
+ Works closely with Data Analysts to ensure impactful usage of data assets
+ Serves as a connection point between stakeholder needs, available data, processes, and outcomes
+ Coordinates data capture, database analysis, design, data workflow, and visualization
+ Guides data strategy for ongoing requests and future opportunities
+ Provides leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems and quality
+ Prioritizes a strong team collaborative culture with a focus on work-life balance
+ Provides ongoing training, maintenance, monitoring, and promotion of data applications and report.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Experience in Data Management, Data Analytics or clinical care with a data focus
+ Well versed in the latest analytic tools and methods
+ Proven experience in healthcare data analysis, including extracting, compiling, organizing, and analyzing large sets of healthcare data
+ Understanding of healthcare business operations, data storage, and data sharing methods
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present findings and insights to stakeholders
+ Intermediate knowledge of **Tableau** , **SQL** (including **Databricks** ) and understanding of database design
+ Proficiency in using office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel) and internet
+ Ability to acquire subject matter expertise in health care or related data (Clinical Programs, Clinical Services, Compliance, Quality, Revenue Cycle, Strategic Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Population Health, etc.).
+ Lifelong learner with a creative, collaborative approach.
+ Temperament to succeed in both an individual and team-based analytic support model
+ Knowledge of Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies, and capable of applying them to data analytic projects to ensure alignment with business goals and efficient execution.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with **Agile** project management and **ServiceNow** .
+ Experience with statistical methods, particularly in the context of patient safety, quality management, and patient experience.
+ Experience with the **Epic EMR** and related analytic capabilities.
+ Experience with federal and other quality, safety, and experience measurement programs and metrics.
+ Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, economics, medical informatics, nursing informatics or nursing and four-years combined experience in Data Management, Data Analytics or clinical care with a data focus
or
+ Bachelor's degree in another area of study with six-years combined experience in Data Management, Data Analytics or clinical care with a data focus. Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$43.92 - $69.16
