Park Maintenance Supervisor – Orange Coast DISTRICT / South SECTOR / Doheny State Beach

The reporting location for this position is Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. This position will work under the general direction of Park Maintenance Chief I.   

Supervisory duties will include supervision of permanent and seasonal staff, camp host and court referral volunteers, facility maintenance and housekeeping duties, refuse disposal duties, equipment management, erosion control, vegetation management, project oversight, service and public works contract specifications development, purchasing, safety inspections, employee development / training, and participation in the development of the various maintenance budgets.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) , this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing. It should be noted that testing is not mandatory, but is allowed to be conducted only
