About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-focused Payroll Administrator to help manage multi-state payroll for several locations. You’ll handle data entry, balancing, and reporting to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do:
Process and review weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations.
Verify accuracy of payroll data and resolve discrepancies before submission.
Prepare and maintain payroll reports for internal and compliance use.
Ensure all payroll activities meet federal, state, and local requirements.
Support year-end reporting, including W-2 processing.
Respond to employee and department payroll inquiries.
Collaborate with HR and other internal teams to maintain accurate employee data.
Stay current with payroll laws, system updates, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
1+ year of payroll or accounting experience, including multi-state processing.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and general Microsoft Office skills.
Strong understanding of payroll calculations, taxes, and deductions.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a hybrid environment.
Additional Details:
50% remote / 50% onsite in New Braunfels, TX.
