Plant Manager
This is a hands-on Plant Manager opportunity with a growing self-fabricating manufacturer that’s doubled its footprint in just a few years. You’ll take the lead on daily production, guide a strong team of foremen, and help shape the next phase of expansion as the facility prepares to more than double in size.
Oversee day-to-day plant operations across welding, forming, and warehouse.
Manage three foremen and ensure production goals, quality, and safety targets are met.
Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to coordinate upgrades and process improvements.
Lead implementation of new equipment (e.g., additional lines, paint booth).
Support the company’s expansion from 185,000 sq. ft. to 400,000 sq. ft.
Drive productivity and tonnage output while fostering a cohesive, learning-oriented culture.
Collaborate with project management to align workflows and delivery timelines.
Identify and adopt technologies that enhance efficiency and output.
7+ years of PEMB plant or operations management in fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
Proven ability to lead diverse production teams in a fast-growing environment.
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, and maintenance.
Track record of driving efficiency improvements and shop-floor engagement.
Comfortable managing both people and production systems.
Entrepreneurial or growth-minded leadership approach.
