**Job Description**
Research Lab Assistant I performs lab cleaning and maintenance duties including washing and sterilizing glassware, operates autoclaves and other specialized equipment, utilizing special detergents or other cleaning agents. Assists in ordering and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory. Performs other lab cleaning and maintenance as required. May participate in research studies and perform basic lab techniques under guidance of the PI.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Performs lab cleaning and maintenance duties, including washing and sterilization of glassware, operation of autoclaves and other specialized equipment.
+ Assists in ordering and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory.
+ Assists in maintaining laboratory and laboratory equipment record keeping.
+ May report to Lab Supervisor or Research Associate III.
+ May assist other Researchers
