Job Description

Salary: 87,100 - 157,450 USD per year Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
  • - Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
  • - Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • - CompTIA Linux+
  • - Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher
  • - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification
  • - Or an equivalent approved by the customer.
  • Personnel must be fully cleared, which includes having a favorably adjudicated Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the last seven (7) years and/or being enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program. Eligible personnel also require a favorably adjudicated Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSPG) within the last seven (7) years and must have completed a Full Scope Polygraph (FSPG) during the applicant’s initial or continued final clearance processing.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Monitor and notify according to procedures, including monitoring screens and site data for issues.
