Salary: 104,650 - 189,175 USD per year Requirements:

• I am looking for a United States citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• I require a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of applicable experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• A current DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (typically Security+) is needed.
• I expect 5+ years of experience performing Tier 2 software maintenance on mission-critical systems.
• Proven experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines is essential:
• - Current and legacy software development languages and tools (i.e. C, C++, Java, XMIDAS)
• - Unix, Linux, or Windows operating systems, including shell scripting
• - Enterprise management tools
• - Enterprise storage management and configuration
• - Database management systems and tools (i.e. Oracle, MySQL)
• - TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environment
• - Information system security, including IAVA management and ICD 503 compliance
• Experience supporting configuration management, change management, and service transition is required.
• I value excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team is essential.
• You must be willing to perform call-in support as required.

Responsibilities:

• I will have you ensure the availability of mission processors through proactive Tier 2 SW maintenance.
• You will lead the performance of incident and problem management to resolve or escalate issues.
• Supporting configuration management and change management activities will be part of your role.
• I expect you to support service transitions, including migrations to cloud infrastructure.
• Leading request fulfillment activities, including account management and configuration changes, will be required.
• You will coordinate with other software maintenance, operations, and engineering contracts as necessary.
• I expect you to lead and ensure the documentation of all work performed via the ticketing system.
• Creating, updating, or enhancing maintenance and operations documentation will also be part of your duties.
• You will ensure the security of mission processors and IT infrastructure.
• Providing call-in support as required will also be part of your responsibilities.
