Compensation Range: $35-$40/hr W2
We are seeking a Workday HCM Core Specialist to support ongoing configuration, testing, and optimization activities within the HCM Core area. This role will provide critical backfill coverage during a team member's leave period, ensuring that ongoing Workday releases, enhancements, and fiscal year-end tasks remain on schedule.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Workday professional to contribute to business process optimization , configuration support, and testing while collaborating with a highly skilled HCM systems team.
Assist team members with weekly Workday releases by testing, validating, and implementing configuration updates.
Support fiscal year-end cutover tasks and HCM Core configuration efforts.
Implement business process optimization enhancements within the HCM Core area.
Review and triage backlog items, proposing and documenting potential solutions to advance them to active development.
Conduct research and proof-of-concept work for new Workday functionality, sharing recommendations with the broader team.
Perform EIB loads , configuration adjustments, and documentation as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support system stability, testing, and release validation.
1–3 years of experience with Workday HCM Core , including configuration and testing.
Proficiency in Job Taxonomy , Workday Organizations and Reorgs , HCM Core Business Processes , and EIB loads .
Experience with Workday configuration and data maintenance .
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to document and communicate solutions clearly.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
U.S.-based candidates working Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Workday HCM Pro Certification.
Prior experience in HRIS or technical HR configuration roles.
Familiarity with project management methodologies or experience in supporting large HR technology teams .
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
